Time to upgrade my PSU?

Hello,

I have an issue with my PSU, a Corsair VS-550W. It's still under warranty (third year), but I have to pay the shipping cost to the manufacturer in order to get a replacement.

Shipping is about $25, and reading around there I realised it is a mediocre PSU, so I was wondering if is worth getting the replace or save that money and go for a better PSU.

My system is an i5-4440 and a R9 270.

What is your opinion? Thanks!

not worth for that powersupply. the xfx ts 550w or seasonic s12ii is a great budget choice

Thank you! I have found a good deal for the XFX TS, so probably I will go for it. So do you think 550w is enough for my system?

550W will easily do with that build (you could go for 450W and would still be fine)
