[citation][nom]vaskodogama[/nom]I'm not even using DSL or something more than 56 Kbps[not KBps], so about cap, I think 100 GB is good! no everyone downloads that much per month, cuz if they do, their 1 TB HDD would become full after 10 days of downloading![/citation]
You are confused as to what bandwidth means. Watching a MLB baseball game online using the MLB.TV service uses about1.5GB of bandwidth (high definition broadcast) for every 4 hours of video. I watch about four games a week so I am talking about 24GB of bandwidth use just from watching baseball games. Consider the fact that I also watch a lot of television from Hulu, download music from iTunes, stream netflix over the internet, play video games, etc and you can see just how quickly 50GB will be eclipsed.
Anything you do on the internet uses bandwidth. I used 1GB of bandwidth on my iPhone last month and didn't "download" a single tangible item. It goes faster than you think which is why everyone is so appalled at these laughable caps.
