Tiny black dot on laptop screen.

Hello! I opened up my laptop today to find a small black dot on the upper righthand portion of my screen. https://imgur.com/a/1GaIGN3 I’ve tried cleaning my screen with a microfiber cloth but that didn’t fix it. Could it be a dead pixel? I’m not to well versed in computers. Also sorry if this should be under the laptop catagory, I though Displays would fit best.

Hard to tell for sure if it's a dead/stuck pixel(normally they are bright spots or stay 1 solid color). There's a few steps you could try here to resolve the issue: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/best-software-solutions-to-fix-a-stuck-pixel-on-your-lcd-monitor/

Ultimately though, if it won't go away and it's bothering you enough, you could have the screen replaced(unless it's a brand new laptop, then just exchange it).
