Tips for Improving my planned rig

Hi, I'm an amateur in these things, and I'm building a gaming PC. I wanted to see if there's anything to economize it and improve some parts like RAM and motherboard(which I've blindly chosen). Also can I replace the I/O ports of the cabinet with USB 3.0 ones?

I guess this is okay. I'd recommend getting a H97 or Z97, though. The i5 won't run and overclock as well on the B85.

And for the hard drive, 1 TB is enough for a few years.

HAHA! I knew, I was clueless while choosing the motherboard, now that I'm a bit more aware, can you suggest the best H97 MB in under $80? And is there any Z97 advantage over H97 other than overclocking?

Eh, not really. There's not much difference other than ability to overclock.

H87 is not bad either
