I just completed my build and installed Windows 8.1 along with some drivers! Tomshardware was the only real help throughout!
Now guys please give me some tips/suggestions for long life of my PC and please suggest me some must have apps on new build PC Ex- CPU temperature etc.

Need to list your computer specifications, or else we can't be specific on recommendations.

Now, for some general suggestions....

Make sure you clean your computer out REGULARLY. Dust and animal hair kill computers.
Make sure you watch for heat. Heat kills computers.

As far as software, make sure you have a good antivirus, anti-malware, anti-adware and I suggest a good ad-blocker (But I may be called a thief by certain people here at Tomshardware (Avram Pilch!) for saying that....)

Asus Z97-Pro Wifi AC Motherboard
i7 4790K
GTX 960 2GB and 250 SSD are main components which I used!
please suggest if I should buy Anti Virus and if yes then which one!
Also I really need Adblocker which one is best as of now

Beware! You are going to get 1,000 different answers to those questions.

Personally, I use AVG antivirus.

Use Malwarebytes anti-malware on a regular basis to keep malware out.

Spywareblaster is a nice little tool to keep junk off as well.

As far as adblocker, I use adblocker plus, but some people use noscript. Make sure you get the proper ad blocker for EACH of the differing browsers you use.

Malwarebytes: https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/
Adblock : https://adblockplus.org/

Just download them from the web.....you just google (adblock plus for ie) or (adblock plus for chrome) and get the right versions. Just download them and run them like you would do with anything else.

Malwarebytes anti-malware is another program....just download that and install it like anything else as well.
