Hey guys, I've just begun building a new rig, and found a slight snag - my heatsink doesn't quite fit.

The motherboard I got is the Asus M4A86GTD Pro. The heatsink was a Titan Fenrir V2, and Corsair Dominator ram. The heatsink, I didn't realize mounts sideways, thus my ram gets in the way of it and I can't fit it properly.

I'm currently using the default heat sink, but I'm wondering what my options are. Are there any custom mounting clips for the heatsink in order to mount it at 90 degrees?

CPU: AMD Phenom II 965
Mobo: Asus M4A89GTD Pro
Ram: Corsair Dominator 1333MHz
Graphics card: AMD 6870 (XFX Black edition)

HSF need reinstall again :
- install Titan Fenrir V2 use 2 Fan if Possible, clean proc , Replace New thermal paste, secured this , sure your Fan wind current In.
- install RAM in Slot 3&4 (good but not best)
install 2 Fan in Titan Fenrir V2 can drop Hot CPU & TMPIN2 (nortbridge)

Hah, I think there's been a misunderstanding - my processor isn't at 90 degrees, if that's what you're thinking. I was asking if there's a way to mount the Fenrir V2 (Or Fenrir Evo Edition) with the fan Vertically rather than Horizontally - there isn't enough room for it currently.

Failing that, what are the repercussions of installing RAM in DIMM A2 and B2 rather than A1 and B1? I've always been under the impression this is a bad thing.
