TL-WR1043ND router throttles around midnight often

Router model : TL-WR1043ND
Firmware : 3.17.38 Build 140613 Rel.55867n

Pretty weird problem, but since a couple of weeks ago I've had this problem where around 12-2 AM my router would just become unbearably slow out of nowhere.

My connection will be the same ( Full bars ) but everything slows down and even the router page (192.168.0.1) can take over a minute for every menu you try to open. On my phone I can alter the router page faster but still very slow. Enabling "speedboost" seems to help the problem for a couple of days.

I can't test a wired connection because I simply don't own an ethernet cable right now, but is there anyone who's had the same issue?

Also I haven't changed the firmware at all, and the router has worked well for almost a year.

Try calling the company, i have heard of some company's shorting people on their internet at early hours of the morning, to save stress on their servers or something.
