TN 144Hz 1ms 1080p 24" or 27" vs VA 60hz 4ms 1080p 27" (w/ Free Sync)

AMD R7 370 - my current graphics card (gonna upgrade in the future for 144hz)

Mainly for gaming and editing videos and photos
-Dota 2 (competitively)
-Overwatch (competitively)
-Adobe

I'm planning to get the VA monitor because of the Free Sync might able to put up against a TN panel 144hz refresh rate instead of sacrificing color and stuff on my monitor.

or you guys have any suggestions

Question: Does Free Sync pushes the Refresh Rate of a VA 60hz Monitor? Because I'm fine with 75hz

to me personally if its over 24 inches 1920 x 1080 is too low

i find 1440p is needed for a 27 inch monitor
