To upgrade CPU or not?

My specs are:
ASRock MB-990EX4
2x 7870 Crossfire
AMD Phenom II 910 OCd @ 3.5GHz

Right now, I am debating on whether or not I should upgrade my CPU. I was looking at the AMD FX-8350, but if my CPU is fine for now, then I don't want to upgrade. During the BF4 beta I was getting terrible framerates and my CPU was maxed out at 100%, which caused me to think that my CPU was bottlenecking my graphics cards. I tried the official release of BF4 and I'm getting 45-60 FPS on ultra settings in single player. I'm unable to run Batman Arkham Origins at a stable framerate, even at lowest settings. My CPU stays around 70-80% while playing. I've tried searching if there are CPU optimization problems with Batman, but I cant find anything.

I can run BF4 at a decent framerate, but my CPU still maxes out at 100% at times. I need help deciding whether or not my current CPU will be sufficient for this round of games. The way I look at it is that if I can run BF4 at Ultra, then there is no reason Batman or other games can't run at a stable framerate. I'm starting to guess it is just optimization issues.

If you are looking to upgrade, you need to know which sockets your motherboard can house. If it can support AM3+, the best bang for buck processors at the moment would be the FX 6300 or the FX 8320 for a little more (OC it to 8350 speeds easily for less money).

Batman may not support CF too well. Have you tried disabling one of the cards and playing?

CF might be goofy in Batman ... have you tried the beta driver?

In BF4 Ultra, I think you are doing about as good as you are going to get ...

What are your OC settings? Have you bumped your IMC/NB?

Thanks for the reply guys. Yes, I do have the latest beta drivers installed. I have also tried disabling the other graphics card, but the framerate is still unstable. The FX-8350 is coming tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I should refuse delivery and save the money for games instead.

hmmm this is weird. I'm running Batman with a single card (50% usage) and CPU only 50% usage, yet the framerate still drops to the 30-40s. I'm thinking it's definitely a software issue. Does anyone have any idea what I should try?

The FX-8350 came today and I'm not seeing any performance difference in Batman. Getting around 40fps when I look at a large area. If I stand still and look at a corner it goes to 60fps. I have also tried using a single card, but have the same issue.
