To upgrade or not to upgrade: Gtx 780 ti to Gtx 980 ti

There is no question that the 980 Ti is, on the whole, better for gaming than the 780 ti - numerous benchmarks prove it.

I was just wondering if it is worth ugprading from a gtx 780 ti in my current gaming rig to a 980 ti - does the cost/performance ratio justify it?

If you need more VRAM for higher resolutions, then the upgrade is worth it. For 1080p, you don't need to upgrade.

if your not upgrading your screen to 1440p+ then its not worth the outlay. the 780ti is still a stonkingly good card that will be worthy for a good few years yet @1080p.
