Sad day. He was a great author and many of his books were too close to reality and/or out before it really happened. Crazy.

I'm going to start the right wing conspiracy. 😀 Lots of right wing leaders have been dying off the last few years.

I hope he got to spend a lot of his money on beer and hookers before he died.

I have not had the chance to read any of his books yet ... but the good thing is his thoughts will live on.

If you write well you can live forever ...

I'm sure he's some radio guy but I keep picturing the guy who said "nappy headed ho" and got fired.

@Rey: He's the guy who wrote the book Hunt for Red October.. I'm sure you've seen the movie. Great author, I haven't really had a chance to read his books through though either.

25 years ago cereal used to come with glasses. On each outside portion of the lens, there was a mirror you could look in to see behind you.

I heard about this the other morning and it set my whole day off.
What a tragic loss of talent. I loved his books, if i am correct I think he has a book due out in Dec. ? I am an avid player of the Splinter Cell franchise as well.
