Between Apple and Dell and their proprietary power schemes. This crap should be illegal. Alienware m17xr2 - plugged in but not charging - why? all because the I2C chip in the PS is not communicating back to the computer that this is an "official Dell power brick" - total BS if you ask me. electrically, all you need is plus and minus to charge a freakin battery. And then don't get me started on Apple crap. Now after a few months, my iphone charge is giving a stupid message about how this accessory will not work with iphone and will not charge it. I mean how does it even know to show this error? (rhetorical question) because stupid Apple has extra conductors in there the give a feedback to determine if it is a "legitimate" cable, but in their cheapness, the Apple cable seems to slip off the raw wires after normal use and I am sure one of them has opened (as opposed to "shorted" for the non-EE people in here), like I said, all you need is plus and minus to charge a freakin battery.

Nice idea to help us out. Kudos.

And this will give u a better understanding of companies' policies so when reviewing a product u can add a line or 2, as far as their support and driver commitment is concerned.

BFG Went out of business after Best buy dropped them as a supplier. so they packed up and just simply dissolved. that's it.
