I have a simple philosophy about things like this. I pay for what I want. If I can't get what I want then I pay for whatever is good enough. With data for example. The prices in my country are stupid (but I'm sure that's how everybody everywhere feels). In any case I can't use a smartphone the way its meant to be used with my data budget. So I get just enough prepaid data for software updates (which I usually do using my router's wifi anyway). So yeah... I really don't yet see the benefit of smartphones when you can't even use them properly. I'll be waiting - It's nothing to me. It was the same with big screen TVs even DVD players. I freaking waited to get a DVD player until it cost less than the price of 10 cinema movie tickets. If the price is wrong then the price is wrong.
