Gta5 soild game great mods #1
Witcher 3 <very close to #1> soild story very detailed world
Project Cars a wonderful race game/sim with tons of tracks and cars and also very detailed

gta5 - only if you consider the pc version as a new 2015 game
witcher 3 - im playing it slow, but damn it makes me want to keep playing it
gat out of hell - even if it was a more or less rehash of saints row 4, is that a bad things? ifs fun to play but wont beat out gta5 over all... but if its just side activites i think gat is better than 5.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R - i believe is getting its first pc release in a day or so... fighting game genre is kind of barron, so definitely a top contender if the same rules for gta5 apply to this too.
killing floor 2 - it sould be out of eirly access before years end, so there you go with fps of the year, at least on the pc.
just cause 3 - have my eye on this and it may make a 2015 release.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - if it makes release day without a delay will be a contender
Knights of Pen and Paper 2 - you have to have played the first one to really understand why im looking forward to this as much as i am.
Mighty No. 9 - megaman on the pc without capcoms fingers in it? sold
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide - a single player first person melee combat game by the people who did war of the roses... here we have a contender that could sneak up on everyone if they don't screw it up.
Sword Coast Legends - fingers crossed on this
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil - i dont know what to expect honestly, this is just here for brand recognition.
Act of Aggression - i hear act of war was a fantastic rts, so in a genre that gets few games and fewer good games here comes one that could take a genre goty
Batman: Arkham Knight - while i personally dont find these games interesting enough to get me to play them till completion in short time but these are fun games and a new one from rocksteady, could be a contender even if i dont think its great.
Hatred - i have no idea what to think of this game, whether its mechanically good or bad i don't think matters, from the looks of it, it could be mindless fun... but this is coming from a person who made it their mission in the original carmageddon to win by killing all the pedestrians, as long as you don't take it seriously... than you have another factor that i hope it does well commercially and critically despite content just so it can pathe the way for more AO games on steam, it may not be much, but imagine if censor bars were not needed in games because despite being AO it would still sell well at least on pc... no more needing to mod what should be basic game functions into some games.
RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER - just thinking of tomb raider made me want to play this game... its not for everyone but i love this kind of game.

i cant remember what games came out eirlier this year than that, 2015 and 2014 kind of mix together there... pillars of eternia may have came out this year, that may beat out witcher 3 in terms of story and rpg, but i love combat of witcher 3 more than i like that baldur's gate style.
