i think he meant rotate the fan so that the wire runs above the fan motor and along the mobo. This way you can have the wire run behind mobo and between the mobo tray will hide the wire, still visible but not conspicuous as it is now.

BTW, that's number 3 of 4 (3/4)

run the USB 3.0 FP header under the 24 pin mobo connector, should look sleek.

If the wires permit, have the 6 or 8 pin PCI connectors to come from above the gpu connectors and also act as a tug to hold up that end.

if you can manage getting the wires to run orthographically, it'd look much sleeker!

Blue ram stix should go brilliant with the build.

I was going for a red themed interior with this MOBO; http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-516-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

But I found out it's small for my case and would look pretty weird, I'll just have to buy a new set of ram :/

I can't hide my cables, I've got an aluminum PC case and there are no options to hide the cables via magical portals. I'm not buying a new PC case cause I've fell in love with the P160 case made by Antec.
Anyways, I've managed to clamp the cables together using tie-wraps and double-sided tape. I still need to recharge my Nokia n900 and hopefully I'll come back here tomorrow morning with some pics, can't be arsed to find a photo camera at the moment.

And to be really honest, I'm not too bothered with cable management.
I also have two red LED's which are 4 inches long and 2 blue LED's which are about 11.8 inches long.

the material doesn't matter, any case can have a decent level of C.m. given sufficient desire, and a lot of folks don't have it, as long as airflow is clear, why worry?
its only Ocd people like me that 'need' invisicables, for everyone else its wasted gaming time :)

Still a mess lol

well to me, you've made major improvements, there is however still more room to work with your case and with the cables. One issue you'll face is the molex connectors. Switching to sata drives will help ease some of that cable clutter. In fact take come wiring tape and wrap those wires. There's also the option of using wire wrap to bunch up your cables. If you have a lot of time, sleeve the cables into botches.

PM me if you'd like feedback one on one :)

+1, that is looking much better mate, flip the Hdd so the connectors are at the back if you can,
never be scared to make extensions from wire yourself (as long as you mark cable to reflect what it is,12v,ground etc)
but from your original post which blinded me, you've made leaps and bounds man, well done for the work so far :)
@Niklas, *I think they need to make this a system gallery - MOD Forum **

Looking better. Turn the HDD 180 degrees if possible, that should hide that sata cable a little better.

Challenge accepted.
edit: Succes! HDD was successfully turned 180 degrees and the red sata cable is barely visible. Also added like 10 more tie wraps and a little tape. I'll post pics soon

Ugh I've been talking about posting my build for months now...

But I just got a Samsung 128GB SATA III MLC SSD... so I gotta take it apart some anyways... mind as well get pics. Hell I'll be building a new PC next weekend too so 2 pics incoming! 7 days and counting.

Needless to say, Antec 1200 with a green theme looks much nicer than blue LEDs imo. Not enough green PCs. Always blue and red.

I'm actually waiting on parts and $ to finish a green themed Case Labs M8 build. It will be my first custom water cooled system. I'm very excited about it. :bounce:

Got a bit of a problem now, I moved the HDD 180 degrees and the cables seem to be in a narrow position, my HDD makes a humming/grinding noise now. Should I be worried?

Hers an update to my gamin rig, which includes new 5mm LEDS fitted to the screw holes on the 180mm fans, shrouded PSU cables for the new 1000w XFX Platinum PSU and a bit more cable management.

To come, replace the GTX580 with a 680, considering water cooling with 2 x 180mm rads for CPU and GPU, hmmm?

Sorry about picture quality as had to take with phone as cant find camera USB lead.
