Absolutely . . . that's why I'm here. This is a lot better than, " . . . nice job, man . . . looks great . . ." with nobody ever saying the truth.

With the panel on, the wires still suck so . . . I got a plan, involves a drill/Dremel and mo zip-ties.

Foy -
If you need to tidy your array and want to know where they are then this

is the best solution - DIY labels for your sata cables/drives instead of slap-on sticker on parts.

Result?

moto - like cabling; clean code is not a naturally occurring part of Foy's repertoire.

Lutfij - that cabling looks pretty, even behind the motherboard. (see, I can learn)

I was wondering why it didn't work, I appreciate it. "<" works in other forums, or at least it has in the past . . .

I'm just having some fun, here. Been reading Tom's for a lot of years, off and on, been on a lot of boards but never a tech forum like this. I've always looked at pictures of other guys' rigs but other than my son, never talked to anybody else that likes to do what I do. You guys take it to another level and of course, I knew that . . . which is why I thought I'd dip my toe in, see how the water was.

You're welcome mate, we have a bit of(Hopefully friendly and good-natured) banter here and if you've read the preceding pages will have seen we can be harsh, but we always back it up with offers of help and advice to improve :)
Forum-goers are a level up from the normal Pc users, then theres little niches that go far beyond 'normal' and somewhere above you all, mocking your woeful attempts at cable management is me hehe
I know I have a problem and have been in consultation with a professional about it, but I tidied his desk up when he wasn't looking :p

SO i have an FT02 case, and inspired by something i saw else where i decided to Water cool my FX8350 so i could get a stable 5ghz OC. Now i tried the internal 180mm rad thing which did help but my temps were still to high so time for something radical i thought, and below is the result, yes 3 holes in my external brick wall (all silicon sealed now) and an external 420mm rad with 6 140mm Phobya fans in Push/Pull with filters and grills fitted. So have a look and tell me what you all think.

after 72 hours of running and outside temps of -4c, the only condensation im getting is forming on the metal tube barb fittings, so ive been doing some research and apparently this stuff will solve that issue straight away

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003B3KS46/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATST95WBGFS73

So ive ordered some and will let you know how i get on.

Oh and already hit the 5ghz yesterday...

Uther you F%&Kin ANIMAL!!!
Good job my friend, I love it :)
I'd have insulated the hoses and put shrouds on the rad for full effect but thats niggling,

@Uther39- Did you mix the water with some coolant (Ethylene glycol) to prevent it from freezing in that outdoor rad, or how are you preventing the water from freezing? I also wonder how it will run come summer time...

Awesome project you have there though!

Yeah its a -20c mix, never reaches that here had -6c this winter, in Summer should be good also as the UK summers are never that hot and its also in the shade as its directly under my car port roof.
