I had the misfortune of viewing THG on IE 6.0 SP2 today (on a different computer than normal today).
I now see what people were saying about the "Google ads" and the banners.
THG please!!! That was a painful experience at best.
By the way it is nothing less than funny too. As it turns out there was a thread about "CRYsis" today notice the cry is caps... The reason this is important is the Google ad was about baby products
I guess they help keep the baby from CRYing.
It would seem that if you are going to implement something like this you might want to review too.. I wonder what we will get when somebody titles a thread with "wonder", "secret", .... Will we end up with some good pics too?
I have been running using FF for the last few years and I now realize why I switched... I do not see those things in FF... Thanks to adblock...
Folks at toms, I know there was a thread started the other day which summed it up quite nicely... But I am not sure folks such as myself would have known fully what they were talking about if I continued to use my own machine.
I ask that you please review your requirements and maybe ask the community what they would like to see. If it is a matter of revenue I do believe that in the early days people would contribute to Toms just to keep it Toms.
Please give/ask us options!! I feel the nature of this site may be/become spoiled..
