Top 4k monitors under 1k

Looking for some opinions on 4k monitors, with this stuff changing so often I wanted to get some fresh opinions of those in the know or with actual experience. Im planning on upgrading some hardware in order to achieve high frame rates in 4k.

I would like a 4k monitor designed for gaming under 1,000. Any advice or opinions on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
