I'm looking for a help. I have Toshiba Satellite C640 Dynabook. it has ddr3 RAM and a Pentium B945 processor. It doesn't support Virtualization. so I upgraded it's cpu to intel 2nd gen i5 2520m processor. now the laptop working fine. no problem. with 8gb ram. and ssd. it's fast. but after I open a game, within 20 mins or 5 mins or suddenly open, the laptop turns itself off. It's a headache.
I tried many things. applied better new thermal grease. clean the all the mb and ventilations, fan and all. add a cooling pad. and set a fan on the top of the laptop from outside. and reduced the maximum cpu power from power management at 80%. I don't know why, but It self shutdowning is not end. I want to find a solution for this problem. I played some games without any fault before this problem even after upgrading the cpu to i5 2nd gen. but however most of the times it shutting down. [PS: before a second to shutting down, the fan rotates fast I guess. and it's sound increases.] Please I need your help. and I appreciate it much. Thanks.
