Toshiba Hard drive 1 TB runs slow.

Mine is too, I even bought a new 3.0 usb card and it still runs slow. I've done chk disk defrag virus check, malware check and still hangs up on movies.

check the drive in question connected to another computer, and/or, with another USB cable....

you can run crystaldiskmark tests on the drive

and/or, GsmrtControl short/long tests...
