Toshiba laptop won't switch on!

Hello i recently wiped (rebooted) a friends laptop (Toshiba satellite pro C70-C-1DN) it was running on windows 10 I rebootedthe normal way in settings as it was rebooting a message box said ERROR OCCURED now the laptop won't switch on atall the power but lights on and charger port but nothing! I've tried the battery out holding down power and adapter in and out ect still nothing please help!

You have a power problem, either battery or power supply. Check power supply to computer. Check breaker.
