Toshiba Satelite M300 gives me black screen after I removed many unwanted junk program form it

I have an old Toshiba Satelite M300, running on window Vista, Window will not boot up after I removed many unwanted junk programs from it yesterday. Now it gives me black screen after the initial Toshiba flash screen page (the one with press <<F2>> or >>F12>> ...at the bottom of the screen). My DVD rom on the labtop is not working properly, I am using an external DVD rom. I have the Recovery Boot Disk. Tried to do a recovery but it still give me black screen when I tried to reboot it with the recovery disk. Please help!

to boot from CD/DVD, you must press and hold F12 as soon as you turn your laptop on.
Then, when the boot device menu appears, select the CD/DVD drive and press <Enter>.

Did that, I could hear and see the light on the DVD rom lighted up and ran for a short while, and it went quite. It had been an hour, nothing happened. I'd tried the other set of the recovery disks, still nothing... Anything else I could do?
