[SOLVED] TOSHIBA Satellite having issues with powering on

My TOSHIBA Satellite has been having an issue that prevents it from turning on fully. As soon as I press the power button the light at the bottom right turns on noting that it is working, but then it shuts off after 5-6 seconds after turning it on. I’ve tried taking out the battery, holding down the power button and then trying to power it on without the battery, but the issue occurs persistently. It was working well the night before this, so what could have happened? Is there any way to fix this?

Do you have another power brick to test or multimeter (test it gives right voltage)?

I’m trying to see if it’s an internal issue and I’m not sure how to remove the rubber caps

First remove Battery and power cable very important. Also dont use anything metallic in the disassebly, things like cards (credit card etc) are fine. Only screwdriver is metallic thing you can use.

I would first try, remove battery/power cable. Remove hdd and wifi card, put back power cable, Try to boot without wifi and hdd. If doesnt work plug off power cable and try with 1 ram stick in each slot, plug off power cable EVERY time you change the ram slots. Try both ram sticks in both slots 1 at a time.
