Toshiba Satellite Keyboard Keys Stopped Working

Everything was working normally on my Toshiba Sattelite L50-B-1FK laptop but recently the keys X C V and M stopped working. The M key sometimes shows some signs of life but not for long. I've tried reinstalling the driver, restarting, hard reset, opening the coever and checking the cable strip, everything I could find online but no help. I suspect some faulty driver (I was using driver easy to install all my drivers and somewhere there all that stopped)


update: ESC, CAPS LOCK, Left CTRL, X, C, V and M are not working

Have you tried connecting an external keyboard to see if it works fine? If it does, then your attached keyboard probably needs replacing.
