Hello, I have 2 old notebooks computers.

Toshiba Satellite L500D, the serial and product number i can not find any drivers as i cant find the discs

AMD TURION II ULTRA DUAL CORE MOBILE M620
ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4650
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
WINDOWS 10 32 BIT

I am thinking, it could be cheaper to :

Add a SSD drive
Corsair 2 x 4GB ram DDR3( if i can use it in a DDR2 notebook)
change to 64bit windows? if possible, the processor supports 64bit ?

I went to the do a recovery as a test, and i can instal 32bit or 64bit windows 7, i would then have to upgrade to win10 again.

I would guess there is no way to copy the recovery partition to another drive?

Solution
You can't use DDR3 on a DDR2 motherboard, they won't fit. For $100-150 you can get a full newer laptop much much faster than yours. Something with an early Intel i5 CPU. A lot better use of your money than spending $60+ on an SSD and another $20-30 on RAM.

Thank you for the help and reply.
I saw a nice used HP Intel I5 3rdGen on ebay, with dedicated memory, SSD 128gb, 4gb ram (but expandable to 16gb) it takes ddr3, apparently, the grpahics card is ddr5?, and 4 ports, vs only 2 usb ports on the Toshiba. My old Compaq Pent4 3.2 has 4 usb2 ports, and performance is only a tad less than the Toshiba, for a much older PC from 2003!
