Totally delete Skype

I am scared silly to attempt totally deleting Skype, then downloading
5.3.0.108, not very good at the computer, can someone pop in by remote to delete Skype so it is done correctly and nothing left that should have been deleted

Remove every part of a program completely. And than install again.
U can use Your Uninstaller! or Revo Uninstaller. The Windows uninstaller will not remove everything.

Skype should tell you to uninstall old version before it will let you install new version. You can also try "Your Uninstaller" to remove the program.

Why delete it at all? Skype does inline update, i.e. if you check for updates it will download and install them for you.
