After the april update the touch keyboard closes automatically when i press altgr + any other key, including altgr twice. Also on chrome when i open a new tab, switch tabs, close a tab or even close the whole browser the touch keyboard opens. It worked properly before the update. I have the problem on multiple win 10 touch devices, lenovo yoga 720 and cube i9.

lenovo yoga 720 - have you run Lenova Vantage to ensure you have latest BIOS and drivers? I can find people having problems with touch screen, but not keyboard - https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-720-Touch-Screen-not-working/td-p/4092283

cube i9 - I can't see any drivers on their web site so must use win 10 drivers...

seems it is a win 10 problem - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-touch/on-screen-keyboard-closes-automatically-when/1a85605e-5ef0-4739-ab79-d1b9bd1db7ec

for time being workaround is to press AltGR, CTRL, character.

Awkward but working.

It is most definitely a windows problem. Just updated an asus transformer book ta100 to 1803, same problem. Also the chrome popup is weird. Does the touch keyboard have some kind of triggers when it is supposed to pop up? What I find most astonishing is that i seem to be pretty much the only one with this problem out of i'd assume hundreds of thousands of windows touch device users. I'll try a fresh install with the most default settings on one of the devices, maybe its some kind of region/language discrepancy thing.
