Installed a tp link ax1800
Added the printer ip and mac address to the DHCP client list
(hp officejet pro 8710)
Connected to the router with an ethernet cable.

But it won't print. Files stay in que.

Same issue with a canon printer which is wireless.

Does something else have to be added ?

Another question, is there a way to change a value in the dhcp client list, I don't see an edit or delete option ?

Can you ping the IP addresses?
Have you used the interface panel on the printer to verify that the IP is being assigned as expected?

You need to install printer drivrer and TP-Link USB Printer Controller utility

My read of the OP is that both printers are network enabled and not using the USB port.

One printer is wired with an ethernet cable.
The other printer is wireless.
Same issue, won't print.
The ip address appear correct, although I did not ping them like I guess I should have.
Note that the DHCP client list picked up my 2 desktops and a roku box.
I manually entered the printer DHCP.

The lcd's on the printers show the correct ips.
Is another entry besides the DHCP client list required ?
or have I checked a box I shouldn't have ?

Ping is the first thing to do. Both of the printers should be pingable from your PC.

The wired printer is now ok.
I tried every options and program hp has available. But then I looked at the printer properties and the ip address was wrong. It was ok on the lcd display, but not in the port properties. odd ??!?
Now as far as the wireless printer, at this point I don't give a hoot.
3 hours to get the router, 1 hour to get pcs, tv cells, etc working and about 8 - 10 hours for the printer.
Thank ya all, I quit

Well I spent another hour or two, ran every utility Canon had, read a million articles and presto it is now working. Wish I could tell ya how, but I really don't know. Thanks again
