Hi, i recently bought a Tp-Link WN822N USB Wireless adapter for my budget pc build, and was planning on upgrading my windows 7 disk straight to a windows 10. When i plugged the wireless adapter into a usb slot that i know has worked already, i didnt expect it to work straight away. I loaded the driver cd into my cd reader, and booted the setup wizard on the disk. I selected the model i have, and pressed "Install driver and utility." I allowed it to make changes to the computer, and pressed the start button on the window that came up.

It then told me that "Wireless network adapter is not detected."
I changed USB plugs multiple times, and checked the devices area in the control panel of the computer, and it does not recognise it as a device at all. No sound is made when plugged in or taken out, and i cannot install the drivers until it is recognised.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Joe
