Hello. On my TPLink TL-SG1024DE switch there are 24ports. If i plug in my pc to 1-8 ports, and the router to 9-16 or 17-24, it cant communicate with the DHCP server. It happens the same way with other ports like above.

Solution
You either have defective hardware or there is still something configured in the switch. Make sure you follow instructions exactly to factory reset the switch.

It is rare but you sometime get groups of ports that fail because 1 chip fails that runs that group. Pretty much you just have a block of ports that is dead. I have not seen one where for example port 1-8 can talk to each other but not any other ports but those ports can also talk to each other.

Still if you have some strange chip failure there is nothing you can really do so you need to hope it is configuration related.

Since the TPLink TL-SG1024DE is a smart switch, you should access its web-based user interface to manage port settings.
If you are not familiar with smart switches and its configuration, maybe you should try an unmanaged switch.
Unmanaged switches requires no configuration and can simply be plugged in and it will auto detect port connections.
Any port can be directly connected to a PC, hub, router, or another switch (some using a straight or crossover cable), so there's no confusion about port specifications.
