Question Trade a GTX 1070 for an RTX 3060 Ti ?

Is it a good deal to trade EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW used for 6+ years never mined for Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti EAGLE 8G perfect condition, with box and warranty and me paying an extra 310e?

Looking at the prices in local stores, new cheapest eagle 3060ti are 560e
And people are selling used 1070 for around 180-220e here.

Any more tricky questions i should ask seller for info?

What country are you in? This could change everything.
it sounds like you are being asked to pay new price for a used card.

Warranty is not likely transferable. Confirm with gigabyte

Agreed with what spentshells said.

If you're dead-set on that trade, ask for warranty status.
Whether it's international or local, and for how long until it expires.

oooh well Ive heard about pricing in easterrn europe, not great, all I can say on the matter is that a 3060ti... I had one is in no way comparable with a 1070ti which I also had, it is so much faster.

What is the rest of your system? Do you actually need the new card? That doesn't sound like a great deal.

MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4
Intel Core i7-12700KF
iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Display Liquid CPU Cooler
Kingston FURY (2x16GB) 3600MHz DDR4
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070
Corsair HX Series 1000 watt
Windows 10

Kind of was thinking ether stay with 1070 or trade for something cheap but more powerful than 1070 until i wait for new cards come and make final decision what to get and use for next 6 or more years.

Ps. Want something good so it would last me like my trusty 1070 who still can max most games at 1080p only now its gonna be 1440p.

1070 is still decent in my opinion.

You can hold on with it until 4000 / 7000 series came out.
It's really close on release date, but sometimes you just have to pull the trigger to upgrade and skip a series / generation or two.

You can get founders 3070ti from the official store for 550. I paid 500 for my 3060ti a few months back and it was indeed an awesome upgrade, I upgraded from the card you have the ftw 1070..

Damm 550 for 3070ti not bad, cheapest here is 638. Not sure where to find FE on official store, it just redirect me to Portugal or Greece shops. Buying most of my parts from Germany tru amazon, helps to save a little bit but not much.
