Trade Channel Monitoring

There are certain items I would like to buy in the AH should they become
available. The problem is when I am busy in the game I don't always watch
the trade channel to see if one of these items has become available.

Is there a way (or a MOD) to automatically monitor the trade channel for
specific items?

I don't know of any Mods that do this but you can subscribe to the
trade channel of your city of choice even when you are out of the zone:

1. Create a new chat window.
2. On the menu that you get when you click on the tab there is a join
option.
3. Type in the exact name of the channel you want to join. e.g. Trade
- Ironforge

You'll now be able to see what's said in that channel from anywhere.
I've heard that this can be a bit buggy but I've been using it to
monitor the LFG channel with no problems.
