suppose if you unscrew the hardrive case and leave a naked cd. can you still transfer hardrive with just the cd alone?

Can you please exlain yourself a bit better?

CPUs do not contain files, so you can't transfer a file from one CPU no another CPU.
If by CPU you mean personal computer (PC), then to transfer a file from one PC to another PC
you just connect both PCs to same network,
share desired file on one PC,
access the file from other PC and copy over.
That's it. :)

This is CPU:

First of all, I honestly I have no idea what you're even trying to ask. You cannot transfer files from a CPU to another CPU; it is not the CPU's job to handle non-volatile memory.

Are you trying to move files from one hard drive to another? Are you trying to move files from a CD to a hard drive? Are you trying to move a hard drive onto a CD? Please clarify. We would all like to help, but I seriously have no idea what you're talking about.
