Transfer files across two pcs with a lan cable

Good day, i have two computers both running windows 7.

Both of them are connected with a lan cable.

How can i transfer files across from one computer to the other using the lan cable.

if you are connecting two computers via network cable without a switch or router, you might have to use a crossover cable.

also you will need to enable file sharing
