[SOLVED] Transfer remaining free space to other partition

Solution
i am shrinking a part of my hdd apps partition because i dont usually fill it up but i cant transfer my shrinked space to my HDD Games partition. it says it doesnt have enough space
  1. Create a new partition "HDD APPS2"in free space. Create primary partition (not logical drive in extended partition). Disk Management probably will not allow that. Use Minitool Partition Wizard Free.
  2. Move all data from "HDD APPS" to "HDD APPS2".
  3. Delete "HDD APPS" logical drive.
  4. Delete extended partition.
  5. Extend "HDD GAMES" to available free space. You'll be able to do that, because free space is right next to "HDD GAMES" partition now.
In Disk Management, you cannot add that 48.83GB space to the 367GB Games partition.
They would need to be right next to each other.

This shows one of the many faults with trying to compartmentalize things with 'partitions'. One or the other is always Too Small.
If there were just a top level folder for "HDD Games", and a top level folder for "HDD Apps"...this problem would not exist.
