Question Transfering and cloning the Hard Drive memory

Is it possible to TRANSFER OR CLONE the memory of a HDD (Hard Disk) of 1 TB ... to a HDD 2 tb ?

I want to PRESERVE THE MEMORY of my pc and if possible DO NOT being necessary needing to reinstall my windows and programs.

You CAN transfer the contents (the files) of HDD 1 to HDD 2 assuming HDD 2 has enough capacity.

You might use cloning.

You might use imaging.

They are similar methods.

Macrium Reflect Free Edition is a good program to do either.

BUT...........it might not be a good idea.................depending on further details, such as whether or not there will be any other hardware changes, such as motherboard.

If you want to change drives ONLY, it shouldn't be a problem if there is enough capacity on the destination drive.
