[SOLVED] transfering bookmarks from favorites bar.

I have just purchased a laptop to take on my travels , my main pc has a large amount of folders on it with dozens of website on them.
How can i transfer bookmark folders from the main pc to my laptop.
I seem to remember doing this many years ago but cant remember how i did it.

I synced all devices but when I opened chrome on the laptop it only offered to import bookmarks in edge and explorer on the laptop. As I say when I got a new pc I am sure I managed to import bookmarks from my old pc but cant remember how I did it.

You Export from the old system, then Import on the new.
