So I bought a new case and a new gpu but when I plugged them all in nothing started, no fans spinning, no noise but one faint light from "SB PWR"

All the parts worked in my previous build together and I'm certain everything is plugged in properly but nothing is starting.

My specs:
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB (new)
CPU : i5 4960
PSU: Huntkey apfc 700w
Case: techware f3 (new)
Mobo: Asus z97m plus
Ram: 3gb ddr3
Hdd: WD blue 1TB

Edit: I have tried using my old gpu and re plugging in the case cables but nothing changed

There is a EPS / EATX cable connector on that board in upper left

See Item 2 below

There is a CPU fan connector. See Item 1 below

Both must be connected

Not familiar with that mobo so I don't know if that SB PWR light should be solid/bright. So that could indicate a power problem.

That aside, you might double-check your connections to main power switch headers and such since you are on a new case.

I've checked all of the parts and cables and everthing is plugged in how it should be and literally nothing is happening, not even some flashing lights (num lock, caps lock and scroll lock) aren't flashing like they used to when I turned it on

The SB_POWER LED is used to indicate that the motherboard is receiving +5V standby power. If this LED is lit you should not be removing or inserting any components on the motherboard.
