I had a SSD (Samsung Evo) and a WD HDD sitting in an old computer so I decided to remove them and add them to the computer I'm currently using. The computer I'm using didn't have extra SATA power cables so I used one from my other PSU (is this incorrect?). Plugged everything in and the HDD caught fire is ruined. The SSD is functioning fine. Now I'm worried about if it's the PSU or the the HDD that is the issue. Anything I should test out?
