Hey all.
I have the same issue. I have an old mac loaded with expensive software. My issue is I do not have any of the license keys. I bought the computer as is with all the software.
I went to the mac store and they stated that all the Apple programs most likely will transfer over using the Migration Assistant. Programs like Microsoft Office will potentially pose an issue.
FRPSH- stated she was able to transfer everything over. What method was used. I hope someone can give me some assistance. I really don't want to give up all of these programs.

Solution
There are programs that will find the product keys on your Mac. Mac Product Key Finder is one but I have not used it so you will need to check into it to see if it meets your needs. Once you have the keys, then do the Migration Assistant thing and move everything over. If something doesn't move then you will need to find a way to install it (borrow a disk, download, etc.) and enter the key that the program found.
