Indeed. My "simplification of life" routine was humming along very
nicely until I discovered flight simming!

However, with my decidedly non-gaming machine as it is, I can't even
use any of the nice water texture improvement files, as my old video
card just can't handle them. Also, being the "scenery freak" that I
am, I've always been frustrated with having to adjust some of the
scenery sliders to such low values just to avoid "slide show" mode.
I've also never been able to use anti-aliasing and anisotropic
filtering, as these have been frame rate killers for me as well. It
will be very nice if I'll be able to see smooth curved lines instead
of "steps" with the new components installed.
I've decided not to upgrade the motherboard just now, and so I'll just
go with the new CPU, RAM, and video card upgrades. I'm really
looking forward to how things will look!
