Hi. I'm currently running 2 1920x1080 monitors on a single 2gb GeForce GTX 660 ti. So far it has worked fine, but I'm looking to upgrade to a 3 monitor setup.

In the past when I first obtained my second monitor, I hooked it up to the motherboard's video output and saw my desktop before unplugging it. Would I be able to see full-screen games assuming I have two monitors attached to the graphics card and a third attached to the motherboard output? Or would I have to purchase a second card for the 3rd monitor to plug in to?

Also, would the performance hit I would take by using 3 monitors on a 2gb card be negated by SLI bridging two 2gb 660's together?

By using the monitor on the onboard graphics, if you would be using all 3 for gaming, it would slow down the performance. Your video card (by the link shown above) supports 3 monitors without issue (you have 2 DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 Displayport). I have a 750ti that runs three 24" 1920 x 1080 monitors....
