I just got 3 27" 144hz monitors and ive got it all set up on a gtx 1080 in nvidia surround. I issue is most games start first off by loading extremely slow and then once loaded get extremely low frame rates. I can change the resolution to 1 monitor then back to triple and the games will run great. i had the same issue with my gtx 970. problem 2 since getting the asus gtx 1080 it only has 2 display ports and 2 hdmi 2.0 ports my third monitor plugged into the hdmi port looks off compared to the 2 on display port and i can no longer run at 144hz. from what ive read 2.0 should support 144hz.. love my new setup but its such a hassle. please help me solve theses issues. thanks for reading. should clarify there are 4 monitors 3 set up on surround 1 on its own the single is a 4k 60hz

I think i figured out the 144hz issue, since the screen resolution with all three is 5760 x 1080 144hz won't be supported if what i read is correct then hdmi 2.0 will only push 4k at 60hz 2k at 120hz. sound right?
so new question is there an adapter i can get that will resolve this issue or am i suck since its hdmi?

still no luck on finding any answers on the loading fps issue =/
