Hi, I just completed a new build and am using DDR4 RAM I’ve used for a few years in my previous build. I’m having trouble posting so I checked the mobo’s “EZDebugger” lights. The DRAM light is on and yellow.

I’ve tried using one RAM stick (in the second slot), reinserting the mobo battery and booting without GPU connected. Nothing has worked so far. The mobo lists on Newegg that it may need an update to work with the 13th gen CPU, but why would the DRAM light be on?

If the motherboard's CPU socket doesn't have any bent or broken pins, then it's highly likely that the motherboard lacks the necessary BIOS version in order to cooperate with the 13th Gen Intel processor you have in your hands. Sadly the motherboard you have doesn't have a BIOS FlashBack or BIOS recovery option, meaning you're going to need a 12th Gen Intel processor in order to get up and running, then update the BIOS tot he latest version and then replace the 12th Gen processor with the 13th Gen processor.
