Hey guys. I just bought an ASUS Sabertooth Z87 motherboard for my new i7-4770k setup, and found my old RAM doesn't play well with it... So I'm checking the memory available for me to buy and comparing it to corsair's QVL and it turns out a lot of them don't show up there. I wonder if they'd still work, anyway? Here are the memory kits I've access to:

CMY16GX3M2A1866C9B <- This is the one I actually want. It's 1866Mhz, CAS 9. Which is great except... ASUS's list doesn't include this CMY- corsair line, only CMD, CMT and CMZ.

CMY16GX3M2A1600C9 <- Also CAS 9, but it's 1600mhz and, again, CMY.

CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10B <- This one looks good, but it's only 1600Mhz CAS10. ASUS lists CMZ8GX3M2A1600C10, so it's M2A, not M1A. What would the difference be?

CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10B <- This one actually fits ASUS's list, only it's got a B in the end, which I'm pretty sure refers to the memory covers being blue, which shouldn't make a difference. This is the one I'm inclined to buy right now, but I'sd still rather buy the first one, at 1866mhz and CAS9.

F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL <- This is G.Skill, not Corsair. ASUS's list doesn't include the CL10 models of G.Skill, only CL9 and CL7.

TL;DR: Do you guys thing corsair's CMY line of products (and that specific one I linked) would work with the sabertooth, even though it's not listed in the manual? I figured it might have been released after the manual was out and might work anyway... or maybe I should play safe and get the 1600mhz CL10 instead? anyone?

I find my new build works perfectly with this adjustable 1866 RAM by A-Data. XPG. 2x8GB set for around $100-to-$130

The Best price-performance out there. Especially if you need low profile RAM (space due to big coolers).
