Hello first time switching components into a new case. I had purchased a VIVO "Athena" tower off of Amazon, and seem to be having trouble installing the 2 LED fans.

There doesn't seem to 4-pin connector on the motherboard - (cm6830-7) to power the fans, and can't seem to figure out where, or if they can even plug into it. The tower also has 4 2-pin connectors, reset sw/h.d.d led/power sw/ and a 2nd split h.d.d LED well. 3rd there is a blue USB3.0 cable, and no idea where it goes either.

Getting frustrated with this whole thing that seems simple, but is just turning out to be a pain, but don't want to end up messing the computer up either.

Just really looking to get help so I don't screw up the entire thing.

Solution
So its an asus essentio cm6830 motherboard. Cant find a lot of info on it online.

Fans - you can plug 4 pin fans into a 3 pin header, they will just run at 100% if you do. Alternatively you could either buy a fan controller, or a fan splitter cable.

Front panel headers - look toward the bottom right of your motherboard, take a decent picture if you can - you should find the correct arrangement in tiny writing right under the pins they should be plugged in to.

Usb3 - if you cant see a usb3 header you will have to either buy a usb2 to usb3 header adapter, or a usb3 pcie card that comes with an internal usb3 header

Don't know your parts? https://www.piriform.com/speccy/download can tell you. You have to physically open the case and look at the PSU or remember its make and model. Right click, select all and then copy and paste the summary

My Vivo Titan has two front LED fans that connected to two of the two pin connectors. I wouldn't be surprised if Vivo comes here. They may offer some additional info or directions. However their manual says to check the motherboard.

We're sorry you're having difficulties with the case! The fan controller has a 4-pin Molex connector that plugs into the power supply. It should be bundled with the rest of the front panel cables, and normally has a silver label that says "Fan controller power". The fans then plug into 3-pin connectors from the controller, which are labeled "Fan1" and Fan2", and then the controller switch setting are high (12V), low (5V), and off.
