Hey, I'm having issues installing the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 (ZT-T16600F-10L, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PD2LG7Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_...) onto my computer (h8-1114 Desktop, *GB RAM, BIOS Version/Date AMI 7.16, 10/5,2011, 600W Power Supply). The previous card I was using was a MSI Geforce 750ti, I don't remember all the information from that. I uninstalled the previous 750ti drivers using DDU and then installed the 1660. After booting up the PC with the 1660 installed I get stuck at the HP Logo screen, where the computer beeps 4 times and then nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suspect it's a UEFI issue, as that's fairly common in OEM systems of that era (early-mid 2011).
However, if a 750TI worked, then the 1660 should too... I would think. 700 series were the real start of the UEFI issues.

Worth checking if there's a BIOS update available for your system, just incase...

Looks like there's a Rev A to 7.16 from Feb 2012...

EDIT Actually, is this the 750TI you had? Had both legacy and UEFI BIOS, via a physical switch on the card

No, I checked and i had the MSI twin frozr 750ti. Took a look at it and i don't see a switch. I installed the update you showed me and still no change. I'm running on Windows 10 also (if that matters).

Oh ok, I must have missed it. I did some googling on my specific card and it seems like everyone else also says it's on there. So does this mean the 1660 and my system just aren't compatible, since the 1660 requires UEFI??

The reason I'm asking is because if it is a UEFI problem then I don't know what the next step is. When I first got my 750ti 7 years ago (about 7 years anyway I don't quite remember) I tried to install it myself and failed, so my dad got some guys from Geek Squad to do it for me. This time around I want to try to figure it out myself, the farthest I've gotten is putting it in the PCI-E express port and connecting the HDMI cord and the PCI-E power cord to it. I'm not great at understanding the software issues though, I'm still very new to this.
