I recently replaced the motherboard on my system and initially tried booting from the same unaltered SSD I used with the previous motherboard. It booted but was very unstable so I did a system reset but it continued to be unstable and after a few restarts I got a page saying there was an error with a disk and press ctrl+alt+delete to restart which just brought me to the same page. I brought it to a pc repair place so they could diagnose the problem because I am very busy and thought it would be easier than diagnosing it myself. They said that my secondary drive (a 1 tb hdd) went bad and that if I run it without that and reinstall windows I should be fine. I removed the hdd and tried to do a windows reset, it restarted my system and then said it was preparing system for reset and was 88% done, it stayed on this page for a while and then all the loading bars stopped ticking and it froze. I left it in this state for about 4 hours and everything was still frozen up. I shut it off with the power button and now when I try to turn on the pc it goes to the window loading screen and wont do anything else. How can I format my ssd to reinstall windows?
