Recently iv'e been struggling with a compatibility issue on my H61-MXL-K. It seems like a fairly common problem that people have with this motherboard when installing a more modern GPU. There is a PCI-E hangup issue where the BIOS will delay for a long period of time when booting when a GPU is installed. In my case I installed a GTX 960 and the PC would delay for around 2 minutes before moving past the initial splash screen. I'm looking at selling this PC so i'm hoping to fix this issue one way or another.
Looking at older threads posted on forums, the only fix is to update the BIOS. Foxconn adressed the issue and released an updated BIOS in 2012 that would fix this problem. My issue is that 6 years later, i'm having difficulty finding a method to update the BIOS. For some reason i'm having extreme difficulty getting onto the Foxconn website to find a tutorial for the BIOS update. I hoped someone here might be able to forward me a fairly simple tutorial on flashing the BIOS.
