Two days ago we had a power cut in Malta and my PC was on and obviously it was immediately shut down so in unplugged it and waited till the power cut was over (2hrs later) when the power came back I went up and switched it on and gamed for half an hour. then we had another power cut and I did the same as the last time unplugging it from the wall the power came back after another hour and a half I then waited half an hour to make sure we weren't going to have another one after and half an hour I turned it back on to check if it was ok and it worked fine . Today I turn it on and after 2 hrs of gaming the screen goes black and the monitor says no video signal detected . I think it's the gpu but I'd like to get some other thoughts on the problem as I am new to PC's .
My PC's specs are
AMD 6300
R9 270x
Asrock Extreme AM3+ motherboard
8gb corsair vengeance low profile ram
Corsair 600 watt 80+ bronze
1tb western digital blue HDD

Thanks,

Ben

does your motherboard have a onboard video chipset so you coukld try to see if it is the gpu but it could also be the cpu that receive overpower when you put the system back on do you use a surge protector between the computer and the wall outlet .
